CASA organises Mani talks Money – 5 Effective Steps to manage Personal Finances

Financial literacy is lacking among many Sri Lankans which leads to financial stress and lower productivity in the workplace. Therefore, it is important for organisations to educate employees on how to manage personal finances and achieve their individual goals which will help to strike a good work life balance. 

With this purpose in mind, Ceylon Association of Shipping Agents (CASA) organised ‘Mani talks money – Learn 5 effective steps to manage your personal finances’ on 27 February at the CASA Secretariat. 

The event was attended by over 50 participants and was commended as an impactful session by all the participants. 

The session was conducted by Manosh Kulasena who is a Senior lecturer for Advanced Financial Management subjects and possess corporate experience in the areas of Investment Banking, Treasury management, and financial reporting etc.

He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK) and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and holds BSc Accounting (special) degree awarded by the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
